Yashasvi Jaiswal was born on December 28, 2001, in Suriyawan, Uttar Pradesh, India .Raised in challenging circumstances, Jaiswal faced numerous hurdles in pursuit of his passion for cricket.

He was very fond of playing cricket since childhood and his game was good so he decided to go to Mumbai on the advice of his seniors.

By the time he moved to Mumbai he had to face a lot of difficulties literally he was not at home he stayed as a worker in a bakery and there he would work and stay and play cricket in the rest of his time.

Jaiswal's breakthrough moment came during the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he represented Mumbai. In a historic inning against Jharkhand, the young prodigy became the youngest player to score a double century in List A cricket, showcasing his immense potential with the bat. This remarkable achievement catapulted him into the limelight and opened doors to further opportunities.

Seventeen-year old Yashasvi Jaiswal became the youngest man to hit a List A double-century, finishing with finishing with 203 in 154 balls against Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

In 2020, Yashasvi Jaiswal played a crucial role in India's victory at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He stood out as the tournament's leading run-scorer, showcasing his cool-headedness, strong technique, and ability to handle pressure. His outstanding performances earned him the Player of the Tournament award, establishing him as one of the most promising talents in Indian cricket.

Following his success in age-group cricket, Yashasvi Jaiswal was picked up by the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His dynamic batting style, combined with an impressive work ethic, made him a valuable asset for the team. Despite the challenges of facing international bowlers, Jaiswal continued to evolve and learn from each experience, showcasing his adaptability and maturity beyond his years.


He made his international debut in the first Test against the West Indies in July 2023, scoring a century in his first innings in Test cricket.
  • In 2017, Jaiswal scored a record-breaking 214 runs in the third Test against England in Rajkot. This made him the second Indian cricketer to score back-to-back double centuries, and only the third Indian to score 200 twice in the same Test series.
  • In 2018, Jaiswal scored 214 runs off 236 balls in the second innings of the Rajkot Test, breaking a 31-year-old record set by Vinod Kambli.
